CALL FOR PAPERS

Dear member,

The Media Research Group is holding its overseas conference in Lisbon in November this year and we are now issuing our first call for papers.

After consideration we have decided not to set an overall theme for the conference in order to attract as wide a range of papers as possible. We would like the conference to reflect the breadth and diversity of the work we are involved in and to highlight how we are meeting the challenges that are faced in our industry.

Your paper could address technical issues on audience measurement or how insight from research has helped in identifying or resolving a business issue. You might have a particular topic you feel strongly about and would like to share with a wider audience. We would consider that too.

Are you doing some groundbreaking or developmental research whose findings you can and want to share with your opposite numbers with our industry?

It’s wide open, so let’s show what we have been doing and the important role that we play in driving the communications industry forward.

At this stage we are looking for an outline only. We realise that your project might not be completed until closer to the time. Please give an overview of the paper and a brief explanation as to why you think it will interest MRG members, on no more than one side of A4, by February 29th.

If your paper is successful, speakers also qualify for a significantly reduced conference rate, so there’s a further incentive!
