Three great papers this month...
Join us back at Hatton Garden for February's MRG meeting when we'll have three interesting talks and the usual drinks, networking and general good cheer.
- Date: Monday 20th February
- Time: 6pm for 6:30 start
- Location: etc Venues, 51-53 Hatton Garden, EC1N 8HN
Lyndsay Ferrigan (Communications Manager, RAJAR) will share results from RAJAR's Winter 2016 Audio Survey 'MIDAS', designed to provide context and insight into how, when and where audio content is being consumed; including device usage, activities, location, who listened with, and information on Audio Types such as Podcasts, Live and Catch Up Radio and On Demand Music Services.
Dan Brilot (Head of Digital, Differntology) will take us through his conference paper, on the IAB's mobile advertising research, which covers in depth the growing consumer mobile landscape in order to inform best practice of balancing both advertising effectiveness and the consumer experience. The piece also covers ad blocking, consumer reactions to different ad formats, behavioural and location based targeted advertising.
Sean Pritchard (Consumer Insight Partner, Time Inc.) will present segmentation The New Mainstream, a study into the millennial audience. The study looks at dispelling some of the myths whilst presenting a meaningful outline of the nuanced groups that exist within the wider audience. It also explores what it means to be part of popular culture in 2017 and argues that there is no such thing as the 'mainstream' anymore.
Evening meetings are free to attend, but only open to MRG members (sign up or renew here).
