The MRG is Heading North!
After listening to feedback from our members we have arranged a content session outside of London.
Thanks to our friends at Researchbods we have a central location in Leeds to host some exceptional papers! We are also opening this event to non-members as we look to boost our membership outside of London and perhaps look to hold this type of event more regularly.
MRG GOES NORTH!
Date: Wednesday 7th June
Time:4pm
Venue: ResearchBods , 21 Queen St, Leeds LS1 2TW
Non Members please sign up here
We have a great line-up for our first session outside of London
Joanna Spencer from BBC Sport will be sharing the results of a fandom tracker the team launched back in 2021. The work was commissioned to fill a gap in understanding around the depth of fandom of Women’s Sport. Joanna will share the results from the past 2 years and reflect on how the findings have helped frame decisions around marketing and editorial within BBC Sport.
Mat Watson from ITV will be presenting "X Marks The Spot"
The two year research journey to launching ITV's new VOD service: ITVX
What's the process from a blank piece of paper to a fully functioning app? What's the research plan?
Mat will also cover how ITV's partnerships with different research agencies contributed uniquely to the project, and the competing (and conflicting!) insight demands of stakeholders.
Euan Mackay from Route will be presenting all the recent developments that have been introduced to the out-of-home currency. These include how the OOH industry has adjusted for post-covid behaviours and the importance of how quickly you walk. He'll define the difference between walking, wending, and waiting and cover how Route has implemented new work from Lumen which accounts for different levels of attention while out and about.
