Experienced Research Executive – 12 months maternity cover starting May 2020

The role:

The Experienced Research Executive is responsible for supporting the IAB Research & Measurement team, and for assisting with the management of research projects for the IAB in 2020/21 – this includes both primary research projects and key measurement activities.

The Experienced Research Executive will work closely with the Research Manager and the Head of Research & Measurement on the IAB’s research and management programme.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with the Research Manager on key research projects that the IAB undertakes – both quantitative and qualitative in nature
  • Supporting the Research Manager and Head of Research & Measurement on key measurement projects such as the biannual IAB/PwC Digital Adspend Study
  • Developing a good working knowledge of IAB’s research tools, as well as industry data such as UKOM
  • Developing primary research skills such as questionnaire design, data analysis, focus group and in-depth interview discussion guides
  • Communicating and presenting insights to internal IAB colleagues as well as IAB members
  • Assisting the Research & Measurement team with the running of internal IAB research events

Skills, knowledge and characteristics:

  • Experience in market research/measurement – ideally at a research agency, advertising or media company
  • Passion for working within the digital and media research industry
  • Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Ability to analyse data
  • Solid project management skills
